The Institute was established in collaboration with prominent global sustainability trailblazers from academia, business and government to “democratize sustainable investing” and to advance solutions for enhanced environmental, social and governance (ESG) outcomes for the broader investing public.

AXS Investments launched the Institute following this year’s remarkable sustainability milestone of global assets surpassing $40 trillion for which ESG data drove investment decisions. The Institute will aim to further support the international growth in ESG investing through the publication of academic-quality research and education. It will additionally continue upon the AXS commitment to attaining sustainable outcomes through dedicated actions by fostering partnerships with universities, corporations and non-profit groups to expand the reach of ESG efforts. These partnerships will seek to amplify the adoption of sustainable investments at all levels of the investing universe. The Institute will empower partners and leverage its pioneering research to support the substantial rate of growth in sustainable investments, which has doubled in just the past four years.
